Having spent a quarter of a century in international development, one of the issues that strikes me is the plethora of pilots, models and initiatives for sustainable development that have benefitted people in limited geography and numbers but unable to reach scale.

CAIDP was invited to attend the launch of FinDev Canada’s Annual Report on July 7. The report on the discussion prepared by the External Relations Committee may be of interest to development professionals. In particular we draw your attention to the fact that FinDev is planning to launch a Technical Assistance (TA) facility to build the capacity of their clients which may present opportunities for members. CAIDP will be following developments and reporting back to members on this.
