The wealth of my professional and academic experience has allowed me to acquire unmatched health and nutrition-related expertise, which in turn helps me envision, implement, and continuously enhance national programs, systems, and policies improving the health of millions of people globally.
Serving as a trusted advisor to senior decision makers, I have become recognized for my capacity to leverage exceptional diplomatic and influencing skills to gain buy-in around innovative strategies and deliver complex, large-scale projects using top-shelf tools to improve child protection and gender equity in low- and middle-income countries, such as Africa and the Middle East.
First and foremost, I like to think of myself as a proficient connector of teams and people who take pride in building bridges between internal teams, governments, donors, partners, and academic institutions, mobilizing cross-functional groups with a contagious passion around a common mission. Following is a selection of my career highlights:
- Led a UK-FCDO-funded £46M nutrition project, improving its ranking from ‘’C’’ to ‘’A’’ while achieving 100% of procurement targets and increasing other targets' achievement from 60% to 80%.
- Led, developed and inspired a high-performing group of 4 national, 10 provincial, and 48 zonal managers for a 5-year nutrition project consortium led by Mott MacDonald UK.
- Implementation oversight, monitoring, and reporting of the food fortification components of Global Affairs Canada’s CAD75M (2016-2020) and CAD150M (2014-2020) grants.
- Received the ‘’Best Employee & Leadership of the Year Award’’.
