Session Summary:
CAIDC has collected a lot of information on the complex issues surrounding working internationally, paying taxes and getting services like health care and old age security. This session is designed to provide consultants with information to help them with tax and retirement planning.
With last years shift in tax policy to a new Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in many parts of Canada, many consultants have asked CAIDC to clarify how the new system works, and how these changes affect them. If you are one of these consultants, many of your questions will likely be answered in this session!
Some topics of interest may include:
- HST and how it affects consultants transactions,
- Who is subject to HST, as opposed to only GST,
- Eligibility for Old Age Security,
- Among many others!
Please join us on May 12th, we hope to see you there!
