GHANA COUNTRY MANAGER

 

The Canadian Cooperative Association (www.coopscanada.coop) invites expressions of interest for a Country Manager to implement a food security project in Northern Ghana. The anticipated project will increase sustainable and gender equitable food security for over 42,000 men and

women in seven districts in the Eastern Corridor of Northern Ghana.

 

The Country Manager will be responsible for the overall success of CCA’s food security project in Northern Ghana. The Country Manager will be responsible for all project activities in country including (but not limited to) developing a project implementation plan, annual work plans and budgets, setting up an office, recruiting and managing field staff, procurement, logistics, reporting, financial management, monitoring, and liaising with implementing partners and other project and community stakeholders.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

The position is located in Tamale, Ghana, with some regional travel anticipated.
