Shaila Shahid is Chief Operating Officer, Disaster Climate Change Support Unit in the Department of Public Health Engineering of the Bangladesh Government. Prior to that, she served the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) as Senior Advisor- Climate Change, DRR and Gender. She has over 15 years of experience and is an Advisory Board Member of the Tomorrow’s Cities, the UKRI-GCRF programme and Executive Board Member of the GenderCC.

Oladosu Adenike is a youth activist from Nigeria who goes by the name, the Ecofeminist. A large part of her work is around spotlighting the humanitarian crisis in the Lake Chad region in Africa. Climate change has severely affected water levels in Lake Chad, resulting in what the UN calls one of the most unique, complex, and severe humanitarian crises in the world. Oladosu is bringing attention to the crisis through her blog, Medium, a Youtube channel, and a website. She was named by the BBC as a key African activist and spoke at COP25.
