Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is seeking a Manager, Asia and the Middle East to join its International Partnerships team.
The Manager, Asia and the Middle East is responsible for providing management and oversight for CICan activities in Asia and the Middle East as well as other regions and activities as required. Activities include, but are not limited to, business development, proposal design, proposal preparation, project management (including budgeting), report writing, and marketing campaign oversight.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of a post-secondary institution or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Sound knowledge of the Canadian College system and an awareness of International activities at colleges and institutes is required. Familiarity with the strategies of development and the economic and political realities of the developing world, especially in Asia and the Middle East and extensive experience in results-based program management (RBM) is necessary.
Excellent communications skills and an ability to interact with senior officials of member institutions and other agencies including government, financial institutions and the private sector are essential.
The successful candidate will function in both official languages.
