Members are reminded of the CAIDP Annual General Meeting, March 26, 2018, 17h00 EDT at the CowaterSogema board room at 275 Slater Street, Suite 1600, Ottawa.
All members in good standing are invited to attend the AGM and are encouraged to attend if they can. Members are reminded that they can participate in person at the CowaterSogema office in Ottawa or electronically via Skype.
Those wishing to participate in person or via Skype should inform Nicole at nicole.leguerrier@caidp-rpcdi.ca before 6 pm on March 23rd and, if you will attend by Skype, include your Skype address.
All full (individual) or corporate members in good standing can vote. Because the nature of our business requires people to travel, we understand that members cannot all attend in person or via Skype. They also have the option of voting by using the proxy form posted on line in the AGM documents. Members can fill this in and send it back to the secretariat or they can ask another member of the association to vote their proxy.
If you wish to participate by proxy, please email proxy forms to either another member, who will vote your proxy at the meeting, or to caidprpcdi@gmail.com before noon on March 26th, 2018 so we can be sure to have your proxy counted at the meeting.
All full (individual) and corporate members in good standing can nominate people for the Board, or nominate themselves to run for the Board. Because many members will need to vote on line or by proxy all Board Nominations have to be supported by a Nomination form, vetted by the Board to ensure eligibility, and posted on the website for the review of members at least two days before the AGM. Please ensure all nomination forms are sent to caidprpcdi@gmail.com by noon on March 23rd, 2018. To make the voting process fair, the vote is based on the nomination forms so that members who cannot attend in person have equal access to information and opportunity to vote.
No nominations can be accepted after noon EDT on March 23rd, 2018.
Members running for the Board do not have to attend in person: no member has to attend in person. There are no nominations from the floor or campaign speeches.
