Position: Administrative/Logistics Officer

Over the past 30 years, Agriteam has managed and implemented more than 350 projects and assignments in dozens of countries worldwide.
We are currently inviting applications for the position of a bilingual Administrative/Logistics Officer.
Responsibilities:
Project Support
§ Coordinate all project logistics
§ Prepare contracts for consultants and conduct audits of resulting expense claims and invoices
§ Provide travel arrangements for project staff/consultants including airline tickets and accommodation; ensure that visa requirements are met; secure insurance coverage; and lead the long-term mobilization of project personnel overseas
§ For project staff departing for long-term overseas postings, organize pre-departure inter-cultural training and shipping/storage of personal effects; arrange pre-departure administrative briefing with Project Team
§ Prepare briefing packages and project manuals using existing templates
§ Work with Finance Department to review and maintain accuracy of financial budgets
Qualifications:
§ Post-secondary degree in related field. (Extensive work experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree)
§ 5 or more years practical experience working in a field related to international development
§ Bilingual proficiency
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Word and Excel
§ Experience in formatting, editing and producing documents for publication
§ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
§ Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with proven ability to manage and work efficiently and independently under a demanding workload
Assets
§ Ability to work with a variety of individuals from various cultural backgrounds
§ Familiarity with Canadian government development projects, procedures and guidelines
§ Ability to multi-task and complete submissions work under strict deadlines
§ Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision
§ Understanding of accounting/financial management
§ Other languages
