CICan is seeking a Specialist, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, to join its International Partnerships team.
The Specialist, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive performance frameworks and evaluation strategies; ensuring that CICan demonstrates results to its stakeholders; and ensuring that CICan’s accountability requirements are met. Activities include, but are not limited to, proposal design and preparation, business development, corporate planning, report writing, domestic and/or international travel, training and management.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of a post-secondary institution or have an equivalent combination of education and experience; with experience in the field of Evaluation, Project Management and/or International Development preferably. A minimum of five (5) years experience in monitoring and evaluation is required. Sound knowledge of member institutions’ capabilities as well as the varying socio-economic and cultural contexts of the countries in which we work is necessary. Demonstrated technical expertise in the field as well as strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
The successful candidate will function in both official languages.
