CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AT TFO CANADA
Finance Director (part-time, contract)
TFO Canada is currently recruiting for a part-time (approximately 10 days per quarter) Finance Director. The successful candidate will support the Executive Director and Board of Directors with financial management of the organization including quarterly and annual financial reporting, budgeting and periodic financial reports required for TFO Canada’s projects funded by the Canadian government (Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development). In supporting the Executive Director, the Finance Director will review the financial reports prepared by, and provide advisory support to, TFO Canada’s full-time Project Accountant who is responsible for bookkeeping, budget management and preparation of draft reports as well as periodic government filings. The Finance Director will also liaise with TFO Canada’s auditors (currently KPMG) with respect to the annual audit and to keep abreast of accounting and financial management matters in the non-profit sector, of relevance to TFO Canada.
