Effectiveness of Canadian Official Development
Development consultants are deeply concerned about Canada's role in the world. They agree that Canada's: international presence has suffered, and wish to be engaged in improving Canada's reputation in development assistance. Members expressed concern that the delivery agents for Canadian ODA 'the Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Executing Agencies, represented by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) and CAIDC' were not consulted in the development of the current Government policy.
